UC Berkeley, Blackboard Partner Up for Accessibility

March 2018 – UC Berkeley has partnered with Blackboard Inc. to offer more accessible online course content using Blackboard Ally. Blackboard Ally can be used to offer guidance to instructors on how to make their online content more accessible, and for searching through an institution’s course materials to automatically check for accessibility issues. Nicolaas Matthijs, Blackboard’s Product Manager, says the company “looks forward to working with the talented team at Berkeley to help instructors deliver the accessible materials students need and deserve.” [Source: Global Accessibility News]
