Sign-to-Text Technology, a Prototype Smart Sign Glove

Yingmi Tech announced this week at Computex Taipai, one of the largest computer and technology expositions, a new prototype smart glove that can translate signed characters into text. The glove is equipped with sensors in the fingers and wrist which allow it to send data to a smartphone which presents it as a text communication/translation. Though currently only capable of detecting Chinese sign language, the team hopes to expand to other signed languages.
