In 2009, the Wireless RERC conducted usability testing on three popular models of touchscreen smartphones, Apple's iPhone 3G, BlackBerry's Storm 9530, and HTC's Touch HD. 13 participants with a variety of disabilities across functional and sensory limitations tested the cognitive, manual, and visual interfaces of the devices.
