John Bricout is a task leader for the Engaged Connected Futures Research where he leads a team of researchers at the University of Texas at Arlington. Dr. Bricout is Director and Professor at the University of Minnesota/Twin Cities School of Social Work. He studies how social technologies influence the community participation and capabilities of people with disabilities. His current scholarship focuses on how the design of ethical person-centered interactions between socially assistive robotics (SAR) and people with disabilities can enhance their capabilities.
