Bruce Walker

Bruce Walker received his Ph.D. degree in psychology, specializing in human factors, from Rice University in 2001. He has a Masters of Arts degree in psychology, with a concentration in human factors and human-computer interaction, also received from Rice in 1997. His research interests include human factors; human-computer interaction; sonification and auditory displays; interfaces for complex tasks; complex decision making; and dual task performance. Bruce works in the Sonfication Lab which conducts research on sonification, auditory displays and other uses of sound in the human-computer interface.
