Amazon Increases Accessibility with New Feature on TV App

August 2020 — Amazon recently released a new assistive feature in the Fire TV app for people with vision disabilities called Text Banner. The Text Banner takes all of the text on the screen and places it in a text box. For instance, once the feature is activated, if a user would like to explore more information about a film or show, they would click the item, and a box would appear with an overview. To turn the Text Banner feature on, users must go into the Fire App, select Settings, Accessibility, and then Text Banner [Source: Robin via NetImperative].
